Chris Chelios plays defence for the Detroit Red Wings. He is the oldest active player in the NHL and is regarded as one of the best Americans ever in the league. Given the time he has spent in the NHL he holds the record of most games played and penalty minutes. He has played in 22 All-Star games nad has won the James Norris Trophy for Defenceman of the Year four times. He has won the Stanley Cup with the Montreal Canadiens and with the Detroit Red Wings.
