Hossam El Sayed Ghaly is an Egyptian international football player who currently features for the English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur. He is a versatile player who can play as a midfielder or a midfielder.

Hossam Ghaly is a product of the Al-Ahly youth academy and made his debut for the Egyptian powerhouse in 2002. After just one season Dutch giants Feyenoord signed him for 1.4 million euros and Ghaly was a decent hit at the Rotterdam Arena, scoring 3 goals in 49 league matches spread over 3 seasons.

Spurs signed Ghaly in January 2006 but he is not considered a regular at White Hart Lane. He was offloaded to Derby County on loan in 2008 and has been recalled to the Spurs first team for the 2008-2009 season.
