Gareth Frank Bale is a teenage Welsh international football player who currently features for the English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur. He plays as a wingback.

Gareth Bale started his professional club career for the English southcoast side Southampton in 2005 and featured in 40 league matches, scoring 5 goals.

In the summer of 2007 Tottenham Hotspur signed Bale from Southampton for an initial payment of 5 million pounds on a four year deal. Gareth Bale made his competitive debut for Spurs in August in an away match against Manchester United in the Premier League. He scored 2 goals in 8 Premier League matches in 2007-2008.

Gareth Bale made his international debut for Wales in May 2007 in a 2-1 win over Trinidad & Tobago and became the youngest ever player to play for Wales. He has scored goals in 11 matches so far for Wales.
