DeMarcus Ware is a linebacker for the NFL's Dallas Cowboys. Drafted out of Troy University, he was the 11th overall pick in 2005.

Ware has been an All-Pro and Pro Bowl selection twice. In three seasons, he has not missed a regular season game, playing in a total of 46. During that span, he's made 215 tackles (166 solo) and 1 interception that he ran back 41 yards for a touchdown. He's notched 33.5 sacks, including his personal best of 14.0 in 2007.

The six-foot-four, 257-pound Ware plays the outside LB position with finesse. He shows great speed, topnotch instincts and amazing athleticism. His anticipation and intelligence allow him to make sound decisions and his superb work ethic and talent have helped him develop his skills quickly. Ware has the ability to move quickly from side-to-side, to slip past blockers and to string out plays. He uses his hands well to fend off blockers, recovers quickly on misdirection plays and is fast enough to stay with tight ends wheeling out into the zone. Although he can be too aggressive at times, missing a developing play, overall he has excellent adjustment skills. He's the type of player who will simply get better with time
