Daniel Munthe Agger is a Danish international football player who currently features for the English Premier League side Liverpool. He plays as a central defender.
Daniel Agger made his professional start with Danish giants Brondby IF in July 2004 and in two seasons had featured in 34 league matches and had scored 5 goals. Liverpool signed the impressive Agger in January 2006 for 5.8 million pounds on a four-and-a-half years contract and this made him the most expensive footballer sold by a Danish club to a foreign club.
He came to the fore at Anfield in the 2007-2008 season when he was often asked to start in the Premier League.
Daniel Agger made his international debut for Denmark in 2005 and has played 18 matches so far and has scored 2 goals.
