Flacco signed a five-year deal with the Ravens worth about $30 million and with a guarantee of $8.75 million. He is listed second on the depth chart.

In two seasons at UD, he threw for over 6,000 yards, hitting for 36 touchdowns and throwing 15 picks. In his final season, he connected on 18 TDs, while tossing just five INTs. He finished his college career with an overall record of 16-9, including three playoff victories in his senior year.

The QB is six-foot-seven and 236 pounds. His arm has ample strength to make every pass. He's got a fast delivery, has a fine touch and timing and shows good accuracy. His leadership is exemplary. He's tough, can take a hit and is durable. Flacco has a tough time throwing on the run. He pocket instincts are not a good as they should be and his great arm sometimes allows him to throw passes that he shouldn't. He'll have to grow a lot in order to become adept at running a pro offense. His tools are good and if he works hard, Flacco could be a starter in the NFL.
