Ruddy Lilian Thuram-Ulien, popularly referred to as Lilian Thuram, is a veteran French international footballer who currently features for the Spanish and European giants FC Barcelona. Thuram holds the record of being the most capped French players ever with 138 games to his credit.

Liian Thuram begane his club career with French principality side AS Monaco in 1991 and moved onto the Italian Serie A side Parma in 1996. He stayed at Parma until the summer of 2001 after which he switched to Italian giants Juventus with whom he won the scudetto four times but Juventus were stripped of their 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 titles because of match-fixing. Thuram also won the UEFA Cup in 1999 but with Parma.

Lilian Thuram was one of a number of players to leave Juventus in the summer of 2006 after Juventus were relegated to the Italian Seie B as a punishment for match-fixing. Thuram was signed by Catalan giants FC Barcelona but in his two seasons at Camp Nou, the French veteran hasn't won anything and there are talks that he would be offloaded in the 2008 summer.

Lilian Thuram won the 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000 with France and also featured for his nation at Euro '96, 2002 World Cup, Euro 2004 and 2006 World Cup.
