  • Sport: football

  • Position: quarterback
  • Nationality: USA
  • Birth date: 1985-07-02 (23 years)

Chad Henne played his college ball at Michigan and in 2008 was drafted in round two by the Miami Dolphins. He was the 57th pick overall. He is third on the Miami depth chart.

While at Michigan, he was a Manning Award Finalist (2006) and was the All-American Freshman Team Quarterback (2004). In 2008, he was the Capital One Bowl MVP and the Senior Bowl North Offensive MVP. At Michigan, he completed 828 of 1,387 passes (59.7-percent) for 87 touchdowns. He tossed 37 picks.

Henne, at six-foot-three and 230 pounds, has a fine NFL build. He's an intelligent player with a strong arm who can make all of the pro throws. He offers a quick release, shows good timing and touch and is durable. However, he's had accuracy problems and often succumbs to pressure by making mistakes. His fundamentals need to be upgraded and his footwork must improve. He does, however, have a lot of experience and is a student of the game, both of which bode well for his development.
