Anthony Wright, who was undrafted in 1999 after playing his NCAA football for South Carolina, was first signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers. However, he never made the permanent roster and after the 1999 season was signed by the Dallas Cowboys. After playing with Dallas from 2000-2001, Wright inked a deal with the Baltimore Ravens (2002-2005). In 2006, he played for the Cincinnati Bengals as Carson Palmer's backup, and since 2007, he has been with the New York Giants.

Over the course of nine seasons, Wright has played intermittently. In that time, he's appeared in 33 games, completing 54.9-percent of his passes (332 of 605) for a total of 3,590 yards. In that time, he's hit for 20 touchdowns while throwing 25 interceptions. His QB rating is 66.3. He played a total of 16 games with the Ravens in 2003 and 2005. Those were his most productive seasons as he hit for 15 touchdowns, aired the ball out for 2,781 yards and had a completion rate of 57.25-percent. His rating during those two seasons was 72.0.

Wright is small for a NFL signal caller. He stands six-foot-one and weighs 211 pounds. He is less of a number two QB and more of a number three man. He moves well, has quick feet and offers a strong arm. He's a streaky passer, has poor field vision and struggles when throwing intermediate and short passes. He's thrown too many interceptions and makes too many bad decisions.
