Bastian Schweinsteiger

Bastian Schweinsteiger is a German international football player who currently features for the German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich. He plays as a midfielder and is said to be one of the best in the world.

Bastian Schweinsteiger developed at the youth academy of German giants and European powerhouse Bayern Munich and made his first team debut in 2002. He has been with the Bavarians since then - although he has been regularly with the first team since 2005- building himself into a very powerful, mostly left-sided midfielder. He developed into a very important member of the club and won the German Bundesliga title on four occasions, in 2003,2005,2006 and 2008.

Bastian Schweinsteiger made his international debut for Germany against Hungary in a friendly in 2004. He was part of the German national squad at Euro 2004, 2006 World Cup and Euro 2008 and has been impressive in all those international competitions.
