Jonny Evans

Jonathan “Jonny” Evans is a young Northern Ireland football player who currently features for the Premiership and European giants Manchester United. He is a defender.

Jonny Evans developed at the Manchester United's football academy but has yet to make a senior debut for the Red Devils. He played on loan at Belgian side Royal Antwerp and then at Sunderland through 2007 to 2008 where he gained good match experience.

Jonny Evans made his Manchester United debut in September 2007 against Coventry City in the Football League Cup. He also played for United in the UEFA Champions League against AS Roma in December 2007 and actually started that match.

Jonny Evans made his debut for Northern Ireland in the international arena in September 2006 against Spain.
