Ryan Giggs

Ryan Joseph Giggs OBE, commonly known as Ryan Giggs, is a former Welsh international football player who currently features for the Premier League and European powerhouse Manchester United. He plays as a left winger and is a world class player. Giggs is considered a legend at Man United and has won the Premier League 10 times with the cub and two UEFA Champions League trophies.

Ryan Giggs developed at the youth academy of Manchester United and made his debut for the English giants during the 1990-1991 season. He soon established himself as a first team regular and has been playing regularly for them since the 1991-1992 season. He made his league debut against Everton at Old Trafford on March 2,1991 and scored his first ever goal against Manchester City in the Manchester derby on May 4,1991.

Giggs had established himself by the time the Premier League came into existence in the 1992-1993 season. He went onto become a world legend and his name became synonymous with Manchester United’s success. He has won 10 Premier League titles, two UEFA Champions League trophies and has won the FA Cup on four occasions.

Ryan Giggs has played for Manchester United all his professional life and has won the Football League Cup twice, the FA Community seven times. He also won the UEFA Super Cup, Intercontinental Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup one time each.

Ryan Giggs made his international debut for Wales in 1991 and went onto feature in 64 international matches for his nation. He became the captain of his nation in 2004 but decided to retire on May 30,2007. Giggs could never feature in a major international competition for his nation.
