Jason Chimera is a Canadian left winger on the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Chimera was drafted by Edmonton in 1997, and played with Edmonton from 2000 until 2004. A talented skater and hard-working checking forward, he was traded to Phoenix before the lockout, but was dealt to Columbus at the start of the 2005 season. Chimera had his best season in 2006-07, scoring 15 goals and 36 points. In 373 NHL games, he has 377 penalty minutes.
Chimera won a gold medal with Canada at the 2007 World Hockey Championships, and participated in the 2008 tournament as well.
