Manny Malhotra is a Canadian center on the Columbus Bluejackets.
Malhotra was drafted 7th overall in 1998 by the New York Rangers. As a top ten pick, his career has been somewhat of a disappointment, as he has never scored more than 12 goals or 21 assists in a single season. He played with New York from 1998 until 2002, when he was dealt to Dallas. He was then traded to Columbus in 2003, where he has had the best seasons of his career. In 2005-06, he had his best year with 10 goals and 31 points.
Malhotra is only the second person of Indian descent to play in the NHL. He is married to the sister of Canadian basketball star Steve Nash.
