Ryan Suter is an American defenseman on the Nashville Predators.
Suter was drafted 7th overall by Nashville in 2003. He played a year of college hockey at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, before joining the Predators in 2005 after the lockout. In 2007-08, he scored 7 goals and 31 points in 76 games, while accumulating 71 penalty minutes.
Suter won three gold medals with Team USA at the 2002 U-18 Championships, the 2002 U-17 Championships, and the 2004 World Junior Championships.
