Martin Erat

Martin Erat is a Czech right winger on the Nashville Predators.

Erat was drafted in 1999 by Nashville. Erat joined the NHL club in 2001, after spending time in the Czech leagues and the WHL. He had a solid rookie campaign, setting a franchise record with 33 points. After being sent back to the minors for a spell in 2002-03, he came back strong in the following season. In the 2007-08 season, he set a career high with 23 goals and 57 points.

Erat has played for the Czech Republic at the 2001 World Juniors, the 2006 Turin Olympics, and the 2006 and 2008 World Championships.
