William McDaniel Ohman was born on August 13, 1977 in Frankfurt, Germany.

He is 6'2", weighs 210 pounds, and bats and throws left. He is a relief pitcher.

High School
Will graduated in 1995 from Ponderosa High School in Parker, Colorado.

College
Will went to Pepperdine, where he majored in business administration.

Career
Will was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 8th round of the 1998 amateur draft. He made his major league debut in 2000 for the Cubs as a relief pitcher, and has spent most of his career in the minor leagues.

He missed the 2002 and 2003 seasons due to an elbow injury and subsequent surgery.

In 2004, he pitched for the minor league Iowa Cubs and in the following off-season, he was added to the 40-man roster.

On April 26, 2005, Will was called up from the minors and on the same day, made his first major league appearance since 2001. He also recorded the Opening Day win for the Cubs on April 2, 2006.

On August 7, 2007, however, the Cubs optioned Will to Triple A-Iowa and called up Sean Gallagher to replace him.

On December 4, 2007, he was traded along with Omar Infante to the Atlanta Braves for Jose Ascanio.
