Matt Stairs is a Canadian outfielder on the Toronto Blue Jays.
Stairs has been an MLB journeyman over his 16 year career. After a brief stint in Montreal, Stairs played with Boston for a season before settling in Oakland. In 2000, after the best statistical seasons in his career, Stairs would make stops in Chicago, Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, Kansas City, Texas and Detroit before signing with Toronto in 2007. Stairs has been a consistent producer in the lineup for Toronto. Stairs is one of only two Canadian players to hit more than 200 HRs in his career.
