Mike Timlin is an American reliever on the Boston Red Sox.
Timlin broke into the league in 1991 with the Toronto Blue Jays. He won back to back World Series rings with Toronto in 1992 and 1993. He spent time with Seattle, Baltimore and Philadelphia before settling in Boston in 2003. In 2004, he helped Boston win their first World Series in 86 years. In 2007, Timlin made his 1000th career appearance, along the way to winning his fourth World Series with the Red Sox. He is currently ranked eight among all time pitchers in appearances.
