Brian Campbell is a Canadian defenseman on the Chicago Blackhawks.
Campbell was drafted in 1997 by the Buffalo Sabres. He went on to put together an outstanding career in the OHL, winning multiple awards. Campbell is one of the best offensive defensemen in the NHL today, and scored 48 points in 2006-07 with Buffalo. In 2008, he was traded to the San Jose Sharks for their playoff run, and tallied 19 points in 20 regular season games. He was one of the most coveted defensemen of the 2008 free agent crop, and signed an 8 year deal with Chicago.
Campbell played for Team Canada at the 1999 World Junior Championships.
