Robert Lang

Robert Lang is a Czech center on the Chicago Blackhawks.

Lang was drafted by Los Angeles in 1990. He broke into the league in 1992, and played 4 seasons with the Kings. He spent some time in the Czech leagues as well, and signed with Boston in 1997, before being traded to Pittsburgh. In 2000-01, he set career highs with 32 goals and 80 points. In 2002, he was moved to the Washington Capitals, where he spent two seasons, scoring 69 points in his first season and 74 in his second. In 2003, he was dealt to the Detroit Red Wings at the trade deadline. He spent three seasons in Detroit before signing with Chicago for the 2007-08 season.

He has played in three Olympic competitions for the Czech Republic, winning a gold medal at the 1998 Games in Nagano. He also won a gold medal at the 1996 World Hockey Championships.
