Martin Havlat is a Czech right winger on the Chicago Blackhawks.

Havlat was drafted in 1999 by the Ottawa Senators after playing in the Czech leagues for two seasons. He is a talented goal scorer and a very fast skater, but has been hampered by injuries during his entire career. In 2003-04, he set career highs with 31 goals, 37 assists and 68 points in only 68 games played. After the 2006 season, Havlat made it clear that he would attempt to become a free agent after his contract was up, so Ottawa traded him to Chicago. He put up good numbers in his first season with Chicago, scoring 25 goals and 57 points in only 56 games. In 2007, he was named to the Western Conference All-Star team.

Havlat has played for the Czech Republic at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.
