Nathaniel Campbell is an American professional boxer and WBO, WBA, and IBF title holder in the Lightweight division. He was born on March 7, 1972, and currently resides in Jacksonville, Florida. He stands 5 feet, 7 inches tall, with 72 inches reach, and fights with an Orthodox stance.

Campbell turned pro in 2000, and went on to win his first 23 fights. His first fight in his professional career was against Scoey Fields, where he won via Technical Knockout. Next, he defeated Alex Brenes - still via Technical Knockout. A series of spectacular wins followed these two, and most of them were won through TKO. These wins set him up on a bout against boxing veteran Joel Casamayor by 2003. During this fight, he lost to Casamayor via unanimous decision.

After two losses against Robbie Peden, and another loss to Francisco Lorenzo, Campbell faded from the spotlight, only to storm back into the scene in 2005.

In 2005, he somewhat regained his place as he scored a huge win over Almazbek Raiymkulov. However, by 2006 he lost to Isaac Hlatshwayo, but managed to win an IBF eliminator over Ricky Quiles. Recently, he won against Juan Diaz via split decision. This win made him the new WBA, IBF, and WBO Lightweight Champion of the World.

Over the course of his career, Campbell had a total of 38 matches which resulted in 32 wins (25 by knockout), 5 losses, and 1 draw. While outside the ring, Campbell prefers driving late 1960s and early 1970s Chevrolet muscle cars. He loves working with them aside from driving them. He is also a film and music buff with rather eclectic tastes. Among his favorite musical artists are Musiq Soul Child, Tim McGraw, Jill Scott, and Al Jarreau.
