Daniel (Danny) Szetela is an American soccer player who currently features for the Spanish football club Racing Santander. He is a midfielder and is of Polish descent.
Danny Szetela graduated from the USSF's Bradenton Academy in 2003 and galloped into the international arena during the Under-17 World Cup in Finland. He made his league debut in the USa for Columbus Crew in 2004 but didn't manage to settle in until later and then in the summer of 2007 he was signed by Racing Santander.
Danny made his debut for Racing in a Copa del Rey match against Malaga in November and in January 2008 was loaned out to Italian Serie B side Brescoa Calcio. He has been recalled to the Racing set-up for the 2008-2009 season.
Danny made his debut for the USA in October 2007 against Switzerland.
