Once you see pink stepping onto the green, you’ll instantly know that Paula Creamer has stepped into the scene. She’s nicknamed the “Pink Panther” not only for the color she often wears but because of her outstanding performance. In her professional debut year in 2005, she was already proclaimed LPGA’s Rookie of the Year. With only three years in the sport, she has already six LPGA wins under her name and has earned almost $5 million in only four seasons.

Paula started her golfing career in as early as 10 years old. By the age of 12, she was already winning regional junior events here and there, 13 events to be precise. Her performance was already noticed that she became the top-ranked female junior golfer in Northern California. In her amateur years, she has won a total of 19 national titles. She managed to become semi-finalists in the US Girl’s Junior Championship as well as the US Women’s Amateur Championship. Paula joined the qualifying tournament for the LPGA Tour and managed to make the cut by five strokes. She immediately turned professional at the start of the event at only the age of eighteen years old.

Paula Creamer shared many firsts during her professional debut. In 2005, she became the youngest player to win multiple-round tournaments in LPGA history. She was also declared the youngest player and one of the quickest to ever reach $1 million in career earnings. Creamer was the youngest player to ever earn a spot on the US Solheim Cup Team as well. She finished her first season with an LPGA Rookie of the Year award and became second on the money list after Annika Sorenstam.

However, Creamer’s success ended in her first season. Her second season on 2006 was not as successful. She was not able to win any tournaments and was able to develop wrist and foot injuries. Though it was a tough year for Creamer, she still managed to make the cut in all of the LPGA tournaments she joined for the year. Creamer turned her life around yet again in 2007, where she had a more successful year. It was on this year that she won her third LPGA title and several more from other events.

In 2008, Creamer had nowhere to go but up. She continues her winning streak, winning her 5th LPGA title on February this year. The highest ranking Creamer ever achieved throughout her career was number two, now she is in the top 5 which is still not bad for a young lady making her way in golf. Aside from many endorsement deals, there is still a lot to see from Paula Creamer.
