Philippe Boucher is a Canadian defenseman on the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Boucher was drafted in 1991 by the Buffalo Sabres, after an impressive career in the QMJHL, where he scored 171 points in three seasons. He saw limited time with the Sabres and was traded to Los Angeles in 1994. In 2002, he was sent to Dallas where he became a top-tier defenseman in the NHL. In 2006-07, he posted a career high 19 goals and 51 points, to go along with 104 penalty minutes. Boucher was traded to Pittsburgh in the opening months of the 2008-09 season.
