Catherine Helene Kraayeveld was born on September 30, 1981. Her father, Dave, was a football player who played for the Seattle Seahawks in 1978.

High School
Catherine went to Lake Washington High School in Kirkland, Washington.

College
Catherine attended the University of Oregon, where she majored in Human and Family Services. She played basketball for the Ducks, under coach Bev Smith.

WNBA
Cathrine was drafted in the third round of the WNBA 2005 Draft by the San Antonio Silver Stars. However, she was waived, and it was not until midway through the 2005 season that she was picked up by the New York Liberty.

In 2007, Cathrine finished 8th in the league with a .411 3-point FG percentage.
