Luke Donald is a 30 year old British professional golf player who was born in Hemel Hampstead, England. He was born on December 7, 1977 and is married to Diane Antonopoulos who comes from Chicago, USA. They got married on June 24, 2007.

When Donald was younger, he and his brother Christian played at the Hazlemere and Beaconsfield Golf Club for junior golf. Currently, Christian caddies for his brother. As early as 15, Donald won his first club championship at Beaconsfield.

Donald turned pro in 2001 and immediately joined the PGA Tour. Within a year, he became the 11th rookie in the history of the PGA Tour to have earned more than $1,000,000 in his very first season by winning the Southern Farm Bureau Classic. In 2004, he won the Scandinavian Masters and the Omega European Masters on the Europe Tour. A year later, in 2005, Donald reached the Top 20 of the Official World Golf Rankings. After his win in the 2006 Honda Classic, he moved up to Top 10 for the very first time.

Considered to be the one of the most consistent players in the game, Donald emerged in 2006 with a one hundred percent record - winning three times out of three.

By 2007, Donald moved up to seventh in the world. All in all, his earnings have totaled $11,000,000. Currently, Donald is sponsored by Polo Ralph Lauren and is signed with sports management, IMG.
