Esteban Andres Solari is an Argentine footballer who currently features for the Spanish club Almeria. He is a striker and is the brother of the Inter Milan and former Argentine international footballer Santiago Hernan Solari. He is nicknamed the “Tano” which means “Italian” but also means “stubborn” in Spanish slang.
Esteban Solari made his professional debut for the Argentine side Velez Sarsfield in 1999-2000 but thereon he became a footballing journeyman. He played for Estudientes, Defensa y Justicia, Argentinos Juniors, Gimnasia de Juruy, Chioggia, Lierse, APOEL and Pumas UNAM.
He scored 34 goals for APOEL in 44 league matches and 24 goals for Pumas UNAM in 34 matches and was signed by Almeria in the summer of 2008.
