Javier Garcia Portillo fan club
Javier Garcia Portillo is a Spanish footballer who currently plays for the Spanish football club Osasuna. He plays as a striker and is actually a graduate of the Real Madrid youth academy.
Javier Portillo entered the youth structure of Real Madrid in the 1994-1995 season and scored 150 goals in his seven seasons in the youth divisions at the club, breaking the record of the Real Madrid legend Raul. In the summer he was given a seven year professional contract and made his debut for the senior side in the 2002-2003 season.
Portillo was loaned out to Italian side Fiorentina in January 2004 and played the 2005-2006 season for Belgian giants Club Brugge. He returned to Madrid in the summer of 2006 only to realize that he was not needed by his club anymore and therefore joined Gimnastic de Tarrogona on a free trasfer. He scored 11 goals in 34 league matches for the side that got relegated from La Liga that season. He was signed by Osasuna at the start of the 2007-2008 season.
