Krys Barch is a Canadian winger on the Dallas Stars.
Barch was drafted in 1998 by the Washington Capitals but did not play a single game for them. He played in the minors for the next 8 years, and was signed by Dallas in 2006. In only 26 games that season, Barch racked up 107 penalty minutes. In 2007-08, he had 105 penalty minutes over 48 games. Despite his reputation as a hard-hitting goal scorer in the OHL, Barch has developed into more of a physical presence, bringing a tough side to a talented Dallas team.
