Andrea Pirlo is an Italian football player who plays midfielder for AC Milan and the Italian national team, for which he won the 2006 FIFA World Cup. His idol is Roberto Baggio.

He is regarded as one of the best midfielders in Serie A by his excellent passing and play-making skills.
Andrea Pirlo started to play football in Brescia in Italy. In 1994 he made the first team. Pirlo played in Brescia 1994-1998 playing 47 games and scoring 6 goals.
In 1998 Andrea Pirlo was signed to Inter Milan and he stayed to 2001. During that time he only played 22 games and was mostly loaned to other clubs (Reggina, Brescia).
In 2001 Pirlo was signed to AC Milan.
