Maxwell Andrade

Maxwell Scherrer Cabelino Andrade, simply known as Maxwell, is a Brazilian footballer who currently features for the Italian giants Inter Milan.

Maxwell commenced his career at Brazilian powerhouse Cruzeiro E.C. and was signed by Dutch giants AFC Ajax in 2001. At the Amsterdam Arena, Maxwell established himself as a versatile player who can play either at left back or at left wing.

He was on loan to Italian side Empoli for the 2005-2006 season due to one non-EU and non-Serie A player registration quota per year but didn't play any games. He was signed by Inter Milan in July 2006 on a free transfer on a four-year contract.

Maxwell has gradually become a first team regular for Inter Milan and after playing as a left back for the 2006-2007 season, he pushed upfield and played as a left-winger for the 2007-2008 season and won back to back Serie A titles with Inter Milan.
