Braydon Coburn is a Canadian defenseman on the Philadelphia Flyers.
Coburn was drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in 2003. He was traded to the Flyers in 2007 after playing only 44 games in Atlanta. 2007-08 was a breakout year for Coburn. He played 78 games and recorded 36 points. Coburn was one of the Flyers' top defensemen in the 2008 postseason but was injured in Game 2 of the Conference Finals by a tipped puck which struck him in the face. He did not return to play for the rest of the season.
Coburn played for Canada at the World Junior Championships twice, winning silver in 2004 and gold in 2005.
