Kiesha Brown fan club
Kiesha Brown was born on January 13, 1979 in Atlanta, Georgia. (Various articles on the web spell her first name Keisha, but on the official WNBA site, it is spelled Kiesha.)
High School
Kiesha attended Woodward Academy, where she was the 1996 National Prep Player of the Year.
University
Kiesha spent an injury-filled career with the Georgia Bulldogs, under coach Andy Landers. She missed most of 1996 with a torn ACL, and in 1997, went down with an injury in the same knee and also missed most of the season.
She was the first fifth-year player in Georgia Bulldog history.
WNBA
Kiesha was signed by the WNBA and added by the Los Angeles Sparks on April 30, 2001. She was waived by the Sparks on May 24, 2001 however. She then signed a contract with the Washington Mystics on April 25, 2002 and played there for three years.
Kiesha then moved to the Houston Comets, signing a contract on July 12, 2005. She was selected by the Chicago Sky in the WNBA Expansion Draft on November 16, 2005. She then signed with the New York Liberty on February 27, 2006.
Kiesha has now come full circle, and currently plays for the Los Angeles Sparks.
