Francesco Toldo is a former Italian international footballer who currently features for the Italian giants Inter Milan. He is one of the best goalkeepers in Europe.

Francesco Toldo came through the youth ranks of AC Milan but could never cut the grades for them. The Italian giants loaned him out to Trento and Ravenna from 1991 to 1993 and after that Fiorentina signed him. Toldo featured regularly for the Viola in the eight seasons that he played for them and played in 266 matches for the Florence side.

Toldo was signed by Inter Milan in the summer of 2001 and was Inter's first choice until the middle of the 2005-2006 season when he was replaced in the starting line-up by the Brazilian Julio Cesar.

Francesco Toldo featured for Italy in Euro'96, 1998 World Cup, Euro 2000, 2002 World Cup and Euro 2004. He hasn't played an international match for Italy since 2004.
