Friday, July 25 2008 -- Former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry might be struggling to adapt to life in Spain but he is still loved and revered as ever in London. So much so that he has now been drafted into the Hall of Fame.
The National Football Museum Hall of Fame in London shall now embrace the French international striker who is regarded by many as the greatest foreigner ever to ply his trade in top flught English football. He departed from Arsenal last summer to Catalan powerhouse FC Barcelona for 24 million euros but is still respected by the Gunners.
Henry won two Premier League titles, two FA Cups and four Golden Boots in his eight years in north London and his due contribution to the English game and to Arsenal FC has now been recognized by being inducted into the Hall of Fame. Earlier in the month Thierry Henry was voted as the greatest ever Arsenal player on a poll held at the club's official website.
