Tottenham Hotspur striker Dimitar Berbatov has reportedly been said to be keen on moving to Manchester United this summer. The Bulgarian international is supposedly unhappy at the mid-table Premiership club and is eager to step up a level and play for the reigning Premiership and European champions.
Not that anyone can blame Berbatov. The Bulgarian international arrived in north London two years ago and has been the best player for Spurs for the past two seasons. But he has never eclipsed his desire to leave White Hart Lane for a better and bigger club and now his chance to play for Man United is on his doorsteps, he doesn't want to turn it away.
Manchester United have already tabled a big offer to Spurs for the player and the British tabloid The Daily Mail claims that Dimitar Berbatov is swayed by this keen interest in him by one of the most respected clubs in the world. It's indeed a matter of time before Berbatov decides to leave White Hart Lane.....how many players can resist the chance to play for Man United!?
