Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster has publicly declared his desire for Robinho to stay on at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in spite of the player publicly insisting that he would leave the club (for Chelsea?) should his wage be not increased.
Robinho is not happy at Real Madrid and with Chelsea persistently courting him, there is confident feeling that the Brazilian international star shall leave the club before long. Chelsea are also supposed to have made a huge offer in the region on 35 million euros which the Merengues have arguably rejected.
Robinho has been coy over his future but his Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster is not half as much in declaring that he definitely wants the player in his team next season. The German told the Madrid based Spanish sports daily Marca:
"Robinho would be a big loss. He is an important player for me and for everyone here. We hope that he stays."
