The Cristiano Ronaldo transfer farce has been cursed with another twist as this tim the Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has declared to the fans that the club does not need to make any new signing this season.
The Spanish giants have been linked with a move to sign the 23-year old Portuguese star from Manchester United this summer but negotiations between the two clubs seem to have stalled as of now.
Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon now says that the club need not make any summer signings as they would like to carry on with the squad that won the Spanish first division title for the second year running last season.
"We have a team that has beaten the record for points, goals scored and goals conceded. It's an exceptional squad. We should be happy to think that there is no need to buy.
"It's the best news the supporters of Real Madrid can have today."
It should also be good news for Man United as the aforementioned words imply that Real Madrid have sidelined their intense desire to sign Ronaldo.
Or have they.....?
