'Monday, July 14, 2008 -- There was only one game in WNBA on Monday.
The Los Angeles Sparks defeated the San Antonio Silver Stars, 75 - 62, snapping a 2-game losing streak, and breaking the Silver Stars 7-game winning streak.
Both Candace Parker and Lisa Leslie put in double doubles. Parker had 24 points and 10 rebounds, Lisa Leslie had 14 points and 10 rebounds.
DeLisha Milton-Jones added 15 points.
For the Silver Stars, Becky Hammon scored 21 points and Ann Wauters had 18 points, eight rebounds and four steals for the Silver Stars (15-7), whose seven-game winning streak ended.
The Sparks shot a season-low 36.6 percent, but the Silver Stars shot themselves in the foot with too many turnovers, which the Sparks were able to turn into points.
