Thursday, July 10, 2008 -- Tonight in the WNBA there were three games.
The Phoenix Mercury were soaked by the Seattle Storm, 89-78.
Lauren Jackson led the way for the Storm, scoring 25 points - 19 of those in the 2nd half.
Swin Cash added 14 points, and Sue Bird and Tanisha Wright both scored 11.
For the Mercury, Cappie Pondexter led the way with 20 points and Diana Taurasi added 16.
The San Antonio Silver Stars shone over the Chicago Sky, 89-75.
Ann Wauters scored 23 points for the Silver Stars, Becky Hammon scored 12, and had 6 assists.
For the Sky, Jia Perkins scored 17 points, Candace Dupree had 13 and Dominique Canty 12.
The Los Angeles Sparks came out sparkless against the Sacramento Monarchs - having left too much on the floor last night against the Comets. They lost 87-69.
