The Chicago Sky declawed the Minnesota Lynx, 73-71.
For the Sky, Candice Dupree had 26 points and 10 rebounds. Jia Perkins added 20 points, and was responsible for the late 3-pointer that gave the Sky the win.
Rookie Candice Wiggins led the Lynx with 17 points, and bench players Vanessa Hayden-Johnson and Charde Houston each scored 13.
Detroit was shocked by the San Antonio Silver Stars, 79-72, in an overtime thriller.
Becky Hammon scored 10 of her 19 points in overtime, to lead her Silver Stars to a win. Sophia Young had shouldered most of the burden during regulation, pouring in 27 points.
Ann Wauters scored the 2-pointer that tied the Silver Stars and the Shock, and then Hammon took over in overtime.
Katie Smith led the Shock with 17 points, while Kara Braxton poured in 16.
The Sacramento Monarchs ruled over the Washington Mystics, 87-81.
Ticha Penicheiro scored 17 points and dished out eight assists for the Monarchs. Kara Lawson put in 13 points, and Rebekkah Brunson and Scholanda Robinson both put in 12 points.
For the Mystics, Alana Beard scored 31 points, Monique Currie had 17 points and seven assists, and Nakia Stanford contributed 10 points.
