India defeated Bangladesh by seven wickets and recorded their third consecutive victory in the Asia Cup being held at Karachi. After this win Mahendra Dhoni the Indian skipper criticized the laborious schedule of the Asia Cup. During a post match press conference Dhoni said that his team had been in Karachi for 84 hours out of which they have played cricket for 36 hours. This was a very tight schedule which Dhoni was not very happy about. Dhoni added that two teams have played back to back matches while the other two have got a day off. Dhoni made it clear that the Indian players were very weary after their matches and he was relieved that they had no matches for a couple of days. It was a very tough task for the Indian team and Dhoni was happy that the team has kept going. He was satisfied that Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir and Suresh Raina displayed a good batting performance and hoped that they would continue to do so in the future. Dhoni explained that is spite of the victories his team would be careful not to become complacent or over confident. Dhoni’s opinion is that the other teams could not be written off and they can make a comeback.
