Wednesday, June 25, 2008 -- No WNBA games scheduled for today, but there's a full spate coming up for Thursday. The Indiana Fever (7-6) face off against the New York Liberty (6-6). The Fever are led by Tamika Catchings, recently returned from injury, and Allison Feaster. The Liberty are led by Janel McCarville and Ashley Battle.
The Connecticut Sun (11-3) have a rematch with the Detroit Shock (10-4). The Sun send Asjha Jones and Lindsay Whalen against Katie Smith and Deanna Nolan.
The Sacramento Monarchs (6-7) try to put the Minnesota Lynx (7-6) back on the losing track. The Monarchs have Kara Lawson and Rebekka Brunson, the Lynx will counter with Anna DaForge and rookie Candice Wiggins.
The San Antonio Silver Stars (8-5) will go up against the Houston Comets (5-8). The Silver Stars have Becky Hammon and Ann Wauters, the Comets have Shannon Johnson and Mwadi Mabika.
The Phoenix Mercury (5-7) will attempt to stay on their winning ways against the Chicago Sky (3-8). Diana Taurasi and Kelly Miller of the Mercury go up against Chasity Melvin and Armintie Price.
And the late night game, the Washington Mystics will attempt to prevent Candace Parker of the Los Angeles Sparks from dunking for a third game. The Mystics have a 5-8 record, the Sparks are 10-3.
