The US team is all been set up and are gearing up for the Beijing Olympics. They know what their nation is expecting from them. If the United States is to retrieve its correct place in worldwide Basketball rankings then the team mission will accomplished. The US team has a long history in the game of basketball. As a basketball culture in the US the team has been always been short of Sharp shooters. Four years back in Athens, Team USA mislaid more Olympic basketball games in duration of two weeks than it had in the prior 67 years.

The current team is not amongst one of the best teams that the US has had in the past but sure are a hard working squad. The head coach of the US team, Mike Krzyzewski said "It's really the world's game, to prove ourselves at the best we have to be prepared thoroughly and do what we think would be beneficial for the team."

Instead of the customary grouping of All-Stars frightened together on short notice, the 2008 team has been able to build up the add-ons of an actual team. LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony and Dwight Howard have all played in the practice games and have shown a drastic amount of improvement. In the past the 2004 Olympic team had undergone a fierce period of training for 20 days. Talent was always inborn with the US team but the only disadvantage was the team unity and consistency.

Despite the fact that no other nation can challenge America's basketball athletic record and talents that are implemented from the world's genuine ability collection, there has always been a lack of organization and unity that has uncovered and disturbed the basic strength of the US team in the current years.

Kobe Bryant will be leading the team along with the likes of Dwyane Wade and James LeBrone.
