Capirossi charting route to return

Loris Capirossi has had the worst Donington Park race he could imagine. No, he didn't have an accident, in fact, he had to sit in the pit garage and watch the action after his crash at Catalunya earlier in the month led to a broken hand. Although the injury has still not healed properly, Capirossi is raring to get back on his bike this weekend and continue with the development. He has shown an incredible will to succeed this year and cannot wait to get back on the GSV-R. Ben Spies, his replacement at the British event will be on standby for the Italian and will come back later in the season for the American Rounds of the MotoGP rounds.

Loris Capirossi had this to say about his return, "I'm 100% certain that I am able to ride and I just can't wait to get back on my bike again. It was really difficult watching at the last race, but I want to say well done to Ben as he did a good job in his first GP. It certainly felt very strange seeing him working with my crew and sitting in my chair in the garage! I missed the test in Catalunya because of the injury, but I know Chris made some improvements to the bike so I will be looking at those and seeing if they will help me. I need to carry on from where I left off and continue to make the bike better and I know that top result is just around the corner."
