Jaw dropping – I assure you.

Allisen Corpuz (10 years old) from Kapolei, Hawaii, just recently shot a 15-over-par 88 while playing at the U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links Championship second round

In over two days, she shot nine strokes over the 160 cut required from the 64 golfers in order for them to advance. This might be easy for some, but for a pint sized girl who stands 5 feet tall at 111 pounds – that is indeed a great feat!

Her partners who were substantially older than her had failed to make the cut. Allisen mostly struck straight 200-yard tee shots. However no matter how consistent she was with the long shots, she still battled with her short game. Despite the hassle, though, she still remained her poise and composure.

As for Allisen's father, Marco Corpuz admitted that he it was "nerve-racking" for him to follow his daughter around for the past two days. He is responsible for this golfing prodigy when he gave in to her begging to let her play – when she was just 4 years old.

In the six years that followed, Allisen became the new face in a slew of really talented female prodigies. These young girls set out to impress the golf world, and most of them have chosen to make themselves known in the Public Links.

We are sure to be hearing lots of news in the future from this shy golfer who, when asked about her debut into the national championship, simply said, "It was nice."
