Wednesday, June 18, 2008 - The Atlanta Dream have just set an unfortunate record in the WNBA -- they have lost their first 11 games of the season.
They lost today to the San Antonio Silver Stars, 81-66.
In an effort to find a positive, rookie Tamera Young "continued to impress" as she grabbed 13 rebounds. Unfortunately, no one could score any points.
For the Silver Stars, Sophia Young had 16 points and four steals.
In the other early game, the Indiana Fever defeated the New York Liberty, 83 - 69.
Four players for the Fever scored in double figures: Katie Douglas, Tammy Sutton-Brown, Tan White and Tamika Catchings.
For the Liberty, Janel McCarville put in 23 points, Shameka Christon had 16, and Tiffany Jackson had 12.
