Rafael Nadal has yet again proven that he is the King of Clay. He has become the second man to win the title four times in a row since Bjorn Borg achieved the same feat from 1978 to 1981.

And again, the Swiss Roger Federer has to contend with second place for the third time in a row. It seems that it is always World No. 2 Rafael Nadal who keeps him from achieving his ultimate goal, that of winning the all four major tennis titles.

Critics have tagged this as Federer's worst loss in all his Grand Slam matches succumbing in the end to a bitter 6-0 score. In the middle of the game, the usually calm and poised Federer was already stomping about in frustration and was eventually screaming in anguish.

The scores spoke for itself and the 6-1 6-3 and 6-0 ratings showed how clumsily Federer played the game in his desperate bid for the Grand Slam title. However, Federe was man enough to admit that Nadal was indeed in top form when he played on the clay court. "He dominated the tournament like never before," says Federer, "He was really on fire today. It's the strongest Rafa that I've ever seen."

Rafael Nadal has an impressive season this year, reaching the semifinals of the Australian Open, the quarterfinals in the Dubai Tennis Championship and placed runner up in the Sony Ericsson Open. Currently, the French Open Champion is competing in the Artois Championship defeating Jonas Bjorkman in the second round.
